Coloured Smoke

This is the only way to create actual coloured smoke!

A small report is followed by a thick plume of very dense smoke.
The 7 second cartridge produces more smoke per second than the 30 second cartridge (but less in total due to its shorter duration).
The 15 second smoke cartridge with fly leads produces slightly less smoke than the 30 second cartridge, and for 15 seconds.
We also now have 90 second duration cartridges which can be purchased singly and produce more smoke volume per second than the other cartridges.

• All colours contain a dye, so care must be taken when positioning smokes near scenery, clothing, etc.

SFX crew will be able to detonate these smokes
simply using a twin core cable and a standard PP3 9V battery.

Battery powered Pro Stage firing controllers - 2 and 6 channel. A flash pod is required to secure and fire 7 or 30 second cartridges.

(9.5cm tall with 7 second duration cartridge inserted or 13cm tall with 30 second duration cartridge inserted)

The smoke cartridges below have a 90cm cable coming off them (ie no pins) to which a voltage eg from a firing controller or for SFX crew with care a 9v PP3 battery, is applied to ignite the effect. 15 second smoke output duration. Please note, for the above 3 pyro lead items, any 2-core cable can be used instead (eg doorbell wire, speaker cable, etc.). The pyro leads above do come with bulgin plugs fitted to each end for quick and easy connection or disconnection to the firing box / flash pod (these plugs are not needed for the 15 or 90 second cartridges).

The use of pyrotechnics, indoors and outdoors, is at the sole discretion of the operator who will have taken full note of the prevailing situation. Operators are warned that pyrotechnic devices can sometimes vary in their performance, and no guarantee is given by the manufacturer, or its agents, that every device will perform exactly the same. This must be borne in mind when siting devices.

ProStage II pyrotechnics must only be used in conjunction with approved firing devices. Any approved device will have written approval from Pea Soup. No liability of any sort will be processed where ProStage II has been used with unapproved firing systems.
