PS19 Mini Rocket Battery - Safety Notice

Pea Soup Ltd is carrying out a safety check and replacement programme for certain PS19 Mini Rocket battery/base assemblies.

This notice applies only to the battery/base assembly. It does not affect the Mini Rocket smoke machine top section itself. See image below

Some PS19 Mini Rocket battery/base assemblies may contain a battery pack from an affected manufacturing batch. The issue relates to a potential manufacturing defect within the battery pack itself. We understand that the likelihood of an issue occurring is very low, but as a precaution, and in the interests of customer safety, affected battery/base assemblies must be removed from use and replaced.

We have already contacted all customers affected by this.

This notice is being published because some PS19 Mini Rocket units may have moved between companies, productions, hire stock, storage locations or end users after original supply.

If you have a PS19 Mini Rocket smoke machine, spare battery/base assembly, or a unit obtained from a film, television, theatre, SFX, training, industrial or other production environment, please check the identification guide below.

Until you have confirmed whether your battery/base assembly is affected, do not charge or use it if you believe it may match the affected identification details, or if you are unsure.

Please download the identification guide and send clear photographs of the battery label, serial number, date code and any visible markings to: info@smokemachines.net

If your battery/base assembly is confirmed as affected, Pea Soup Ltd will arrange a replacement battery/base assembly.
